Lolo Hot SpringsLolo Hot Springs, located in Lolo, Montana in the heart of the Bitterroot Mountains, dates back to the early 1800’s as a meeting and bathing spot for the Indians. Early explorers, trappers and prospectors also used the hot springs as a meeting spot during the days of the Lewis & Clark expedition. In addition to the soothing hot springs, there are over 500 miles of groomed trails surrounding the area, which are perfect for hiking, horseback riding, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. There are excellent fishing, hunting, and wildlife viewing opportunities in the area. While on vacation at the Lolo Hot Springs, you can stay at the adjacent campground. RV and tent sites, as well as tipi’s and cabins are available for guests. There is plenty to do through every season of the year at the Lolo Hot Springs. |
