Hitchcock Nature CenterSituated in the Loess Hills of Iowa is the Hitchcock Nature Center. This area contains some of the largest expanses of prairie in the state and offers refuge for wildlife and habitats for plant species that are not found anywhere else within the state. The Hitchcock Nature Center offers opportunities for bird watching and wildlife viewing and photography, hiking, camping, picnicking, star gazing and snow sledding – or just spend some time enjoying the surrounding scenery and all aspects of nature that envelope you when you are there. |
