Crow Flies High Scenic Overlook

Crow Flies High Scenic Overlook is a magnificent scenic park perched over Lake Sakakawea (a.k.a. Sakajawea) west of New Town, North Dakota. Spanning incredible views of Four Bears Bridge and the lake below, visitors can enjoy long moments breathlessly absorbing the panorama. There are interpretive signs here providing information about the creation of Lake Sakakawea. This park is for day use only, but its 253 acres provide plenty of room for fun and picnicking. When the waters get low, you may even catch a glimpse of the town of Sanish, which is now submerged in the depths of Lake Sakakawea. Crow Flies High Scenic Overlook is a most worthy stopover point for visitors anywhere near the area- bring a blanket and a lunch basket for a real treat to share with friends and family.
