Sioux Dam Wildlife Area

At the base of the Loess Hills in Iowa is the Sioux Dam Wildlife Area. This area along the Harrison and Monona county lines is located near the Little Sioux River and contains about ten acres of restored prairie and timber mix. Recreational activities in the area include wildlife and nature viewing and photography, bird watching, bank fishing in the Little Sioux River, and hunting of deer, turkey, pheasant, quail, squirrel, and rabbits. There are no additional facilities at this location.
