Ecola State ParkDriving the two mile stretch from Cannon Beach to Ecola State Park, the road suddenly opens up to awe-inspiring views of the Pacific Ocean after meandering through the rows of Sitka spruce. The Clatsop Loop Trail is a new interpretive trail that walks the same footsteps of Captain Clark and his ensemble. Surfers hang loose at Indian Beach adding a whole other category for wildlife viewing. Magically, tide pools are revealed as visitors wander through the landscape.
