War Horse National Wildlife RefugeA satellite refuge of the Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge, the War Horse National Wildlife Refuge is located within Montana and was established primarily to protect wetland areas for waterfowl and migratory birds. The larger refuge area spans over one million acres of land along the Missouri River and is home to many species of wildlife, flora and fauna.
