Swan Creek Recreation AreaSwan Creek Recreation Area is a fishing haven in the rolling hills and prairie bluffs of Gettysburg, SD. Located along the Lewis and Clark Trail, visitors daydream to be part of the Corps of Discovery while boating on the waters of Lake Oahe. Swan Creek Recreation Area’s 85 acres provides for overnight stay with 23 camp sites between its two campgrounds. Both the east and west campgrounds feature electrical hook-ups and two of the sites are handicap accessible. A fish cleaning station is available along with two boat ramps. Once back ashore, you can picnic by the water and revel over your best catch. So cast your line- and reel in the best South Dakota has to offer in walleye, bass, northern pike, and perch! |
