Niobrara State ParkNiobrara State Park lies its vast 1,640 acres in Lincoln, NE, where the Niobrara and Missouri rivers meet. Horseback riding, fishing, hiking, boating, bird watching, wildlife observation, swimming and more are available to its visitors. There are three boat launches on the Missouri River at the old Niobrara town site, and Ferry Landing is just two miles downstream near Standing Bear Bridge. A handicap-accessible fishing bridge crosses the Niobrara River with great opportunities for catfishing. The interpretive center covers the native Ponca Indians and other significant highlights to the area. There is a modern campground and RV park providing drinking water, restrooms, showers, picnic tables, grills, 30-amp electrical hook-ups, and a playground.
